By Monday afternoon, it looked like this –

Pretty sweet, eh? And they even had help!
On other project notes –

And one last little wallhanging that I finally finished (I started it when I was last in Arkansas, April 2005!). It’s only about 13″ square but it works nicely with my small spaces!

That’s it for now. I’m hoping to start my Christmas presents this week, but don’t tell anyone, OK?
🙂
Your granddaughter quilts look wonderful. And I love your little finally finished piece. You got brave to do your machine quilting in contrasting thread so the back looks fabulous too. Good Job!
I miss my quilting. You’ve done a lovely job on all the quilts. I love the patterns and colors chosen. You guys are an inspiration. Thanks for sharing.

i love maddie’s crib blanket! i especially love how traditional the pattern is. i love quilts, but i don’t think i’d have the patience for it. i was admiring lara’s just yesterday…
