Is anybody still checking? It’s been quite a month, and I am so glad to be back in blogging business. So. Glad.
I wish I could offer a definitive reason why I was unable to get into my site to post updates, but all I know is that one night it was working fine and the next morning – poof. No Go. No way Jose. Nuttin. What I do know is that thanks to Lara and her friend Geof (who is now my new best friend) it is finally up and running.
And you’d think, that after an entire month I’d have lots and lots of clever posts just ready to go. Well, shortly after my website decided to deny me access, my computer decided it had behaved well long enough and IT crashed. My friends at the Geek Squad have been working away at it for the last couple of weeks and I will hopefully have it back within a day or two. (I guess it just needed a couple of weeks vacation (and a new motherboard)). I’ve been using Gary’s computer, but will be very happy to get my baby back with my programs and my “stuff”. So while I’ll be trying to catch you up on some of our comings and goings over the next several posts, let me just say today that I am glad to be back. I’ve missed sharing with you guys! I hope we’re still friends!
We have moved since I last wrote. We are currently at Alliance Redwood Conference Grounds just outside of Occidental, CA. It’s north of San Francisco between the ocean and Napa Valley. It’s been a great project so far. There is one other Sower couple working with us and we’ve not only worked with them before, but they are one of the couples we will be traveling together with when we drive to Alaska in May. So the fellowship has been especially sweet. And they love sightseeing, so we’ve been jumping in the car at every opportunity to check out the little back roads, impressive coast line, and mile after mile of vineyards.
So check back soon for more adventures!
Before I sign off I’d like to share a quote I came across recently. With all of the ups and downs of the last month I was glad to be reminded that –
Corrie ten Boom
Amen.
Yay! you’re back! I missed you. Glad Lara and Geof helped you out.
Glad to see you are back. Your journal is at the top of the list that I follow and I was wondering what happened to you. I follow you Journal in particular becaue of your connection to SOWERS. My wife and I are planning to go fulltime in a couple of years and have looked into the SOWERS ministry as something we want do. Glad you are back.
welcome back.
GREAT quote.

Of course we’re still reading and checking in regularly to see what’s new. I’m glad Lara and Geof made a good fix. And I’m glad lexulous kept us connected in the meantime.

Lynne
