Ah, mornings at The Cabin.
Some mornings the view (from the outhouse door!) looks like this –
Breathtaking.
And some days that same view looks like this –
But even though we’ve lost the mountains, that early morning mist always speaks of great things to come. Yesterday was one of those days. Come along with me for a little “heavy dew” walk as we explore around The Cabin in the mist.
There’s the mist rising off the pond –
There’s the dew clad web of a spider friend, nestled in the pine trees
There’s the sun filtering through, bringing the promise of a sunny day.
Some goldenrod heavy with moisture –
Jewels embroidered between the branches…
And Gary already working down at the shed.
Yes, my friends, it was a beautiful day in the neighborhood!
🙂
Beautiful words, beautiful pictures, beautiful people. Thanks for sharing.
Truly is a beautiful day in the neighborhood.
How nice that we don’t need to fix it ( morning, that is)! It’s great just the way it is!
Love your jeweled spider webs.
You must be having a great vacation. Love the spider web pictures and all your pictures. You do such a great job.
