We’ve driven over some pretty impressive bridges in our travels.
The bridge to Prince Edward Island
The Golden Gate Bridge
The last wooden bridge on the Alaskan Highway
Some crazy bridge near Exit 308 on some highway as we drove to Washington. (It was 2009 – I’ve slept so many times since then!).
The Deception Pass Bridge (also Washington in 2009, but this one was labeled!)
London Bridge (Lake Havasu City, AZ)
The Mackinaw Bridge (Michigan).
There have been high bridges, low bridges, long bridges and short bridges.
But the bridge we just drove over today might just be one of the most memorable.
Now, you probably don’t even see the bridge. It’s not very long – but the trick is, it’s not very wide either. Here’s a shot of Gary directing a Fifth Wheel over it (taken from the other direction).
See what I mean?
Today as we departed Camp Cho-Yeh it was my job to guide Gary and the house over this bridge.
Oh, yeah, baby – you can do it!
Plenty of room, right?
Of course!
We’re getting nicely settled in at our campsite on Lake Livingston, and even though it’s cloudy and cool, we’re sitting around a sweet campfire, looking forward to our friends joining us momentarily.
All good, friends, all good!
