We’ve been working hard here at UIM, but our time here has not been without seasons of fun.  We did that great hike a couple of weeks ago and have gotten together with other SOWERS in the area for a couple different outings, including a very fun matinee at the “Arizona Opry” in Apache Junction.

Last weekend we checked out a local RV show.

It never hurts to look, right? And that’s all we did! (Besides enjoy a free hot dog while we were there!)
I confess that we’ve also been hanging out at this joint just a little too much!

Our justification is “Where else can we eat out for $10.15?” It’s all about the budget, doncha know!
We’ve also been enjoying being parked right next a citrus orchard.


Oh my – such a bounty of grapefruits and oranges.

And let’s not forget the lemons –

So far we’ve enjoyed lemon bars, lemon meringue pie, fresh lemonade and tonight I’ve just pulled some lemon-poppy seed muffins out of the oven. My, it smells good in here!
