Several folks guessed Utah, but Janet T. got it right –
White Sands National Monument, New Mexico!

We were there on a beautiful day back in October of 2008, but I doubt that it has changed much since then! Here’s the blog post from our time there (along with some other travel sights along the way!) and here is a little slide show of some of the pictures I took.
