Mondays are for Memories – Girls Week

Instead of sharing a post from the past, I thought I’d mix things up a bit and just talk about some plain old memories!
The Sisters
My sisters and I shared lots of memories over the last week. Memories of growing up in the 50’s and 60’s, memories of having babies together and memories that sometimes we even remember differently. (It’s all about perspective, right?)

This must have been our Upholstery Easter.

We were such rebels in our granny dresses!
But even as we sorted through piles of ‘vintage’ photos, what we really enjoyed was making memories during the week with three sets of our grandchildren.

Needless to say we had a great week. Picture perfect weather, spring in full bloom,
Spring is Sprung!
kids and grands to play with and a brand new game of Rummikub to keep us occupied in the evening!
Girls Week tradition. We're all winners!
We made memories, we shared memories, we treasured each and every moment. How blessed we are to have each other and this special time together each year.

A modest selection of the additional pictures from GW15 is here. 🙂
And if you’d like to see a vintage Girls Week post – here’s one from 2007
Enjoy! (I know we did!)
