Changing the direction for the day

When I woke up this morning I had a plan. Enjoy my coffee while putting together an episode of  the “Sisters’ Winter Getaway”, then move to the sewing machine and work on a little table runner I’m trying to finish up. However, my hardworking, oil-changing husband announced that he needed me to empty out the closet so he could access the engine.
Wait. Empty out the closet?

Well, there was nothing to do but get started!

Oy! To say that cleaning/organizing closet was a chore that was well overdue is an understatement.
Can you see the hatch to the engine compartment? That’s where he was headed!

Putting the closet back together was the perfect opportunity to sort through those clothes, check out just what was in those bins, and fill up a bag for the thrift shop!

(I’m still working on the perfect shoe organization, but at least I’m down three pairs!)
One thing I did find (it wasn’t really lost – just forgotten about!) was our travel map.

North Dakota and Delaware (we’ve been to DE, just not in the RV! And we’re still waiting for the bridge to Hawaii) look kinda lonely. Guess we still have some traveling to do!

Thanks for stopping by – and have a great weekend!Steph
