Of course, the real reason we went to Waco this past weekend was to spend time with our kids and grands and to also spoil our little guy who just turned eight!

But while we were there, it was fun to check on the little guys that we watched hatch just two weeks earlier.
This is how we left them –

By the time of our return this weekend they had already moved to the coop outside!

Of course, we can’t forget the actual egg producers. (photo thanks to Josiah since I totally failed at getting a picture of the big girls!)

While we had lots of fun checking out the flock (even a new batch of bantam chicks that somehow found their way into Josiah’s cart at the local farm store)
let’s circle back to the real reason we go to Waco –

We like their Mom and Dad pretty well too -we  just don’t seem to get pictures of them!
