Tonight we are settled in our nest for the week (at least) here at Camp Nathanael in Emmalena, KY. We left our dear Lizzie, plugged in and ready for repair (i.e. I had to empty out my closet. Yikes). Hopefully we’ll be reunited by next week, but until then I can only praise our Lord for his faithfulness to us! I found this video that combines two hymns with a bit of reflection and it really spoke to my heart. Maybe it will speak to yours too!
It was beautiful Resurrection Sunday here in Clinton, MO! We celebrated our Risen Lord this morning with new and old SOWER friends, and were thankful to be in the house of the LORD this Easter! Unto the grave, what will we sing?

It’s no surprise that I’ve come to love this new hymn written by Skye Peterson and produced by the Getty’s. How thankful I am that I belong to Him and I am not my own!

It’s been a year, hasn’t it? Some beauty, some hard, some very hard. But still, we have so much to be thankful for, don’t we?  But I think the bottom line of what I am thankful for is God’s faithfulness and lovingkindness to me. I wish for you the very best of Thanksgivings – filled with friends and family, good fellowship and yummy food, and a deep abiding sense of who you are in the Lord.
Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is your Faithfulness Lamentations 3:21-23
It’s almost Valentine’s Day, so what better than a hymn that speaks of a Love That Will Not Let Me Go! This hymn was written by George Matheson in 1882, but these words ring true still today! May we always rest our weary souls in the LOVE that will not let us go!
