Home again, home again, jiggitty jig

Truth be told, we have always considered our sweet Lizzie (the RV, if you’re new here) Home for the last 20 years. But there is just something different about coming Home to an actual house.  After a lovely SOWER project in Arizona (I’ll catch you up on that soon, I promise!), we’re back at our Little Lindale House for several weeks before we head north and east for the summer.  It’s a new feeling – this ‘coming home’ to a house thing – but I think we’re both enjoying it! Gary is already back to work on the ramp, and I have some  projects of my own – so I’m sure April will just whiz by!

Thanks for being patient with me as I figure out this “new normal” for us!

But what is Dad going to do? Part II

With the She Shed and the He Shed renovations just about wrapped up, Gary moved to the next phase – making his work area more useful! First he needed to make a solid work surface for his ongoing projects!

(That’s Lizzie parked outside of our RV cover. Our neighbor who owns the lot next to ours let us park Lizzie there while we were getting started on these renovations. We have the best neighbors!)
Next up he tackled the walkways – upgrading from concrete pavers

to a wooden walkway.

This also involved new steps –

And although I have used those stairs regularly for the last two months – I don’t seem to have taken any pictures. But they’ll show up in some future posts. Because you know he isn’t done yet!

The adventure continues…
